MAKERBOT SKETCH TOUGH PLA
MakerBot Tough PLA is the ideal filament for your Sketch Classroom. PLA is a 3D printing filament and is often the default filament of choice for most extrusion-based 3D printers because it can be printed at a low temperature and does not require a heated bed. Compared to all 3D printing materials, PLA is one of the most popular materials used for additive manufacturing. PLA Plastic, or polylactic acid, is a vegetable-based plastic material and is a fully biodegradable thermoplastic polymer consisting of renewable raw materials, making it safe for offices and classrooms.
Tough PLA is much stronger and more rigid than normal PLA, and acts more like ABS without needing the high printing temperatures. This makes it perfect for the classroom.
The MakerBot Sketch Tough PLA is for use in the MakerBot Sketch Classroom 3D Printers and is also available in a 4 colour set.
