The Pelling Lab for biophysical manipulation is an exploratory space at the University of Ottawa dedicated to understanding the limits of living systems. We use 3D printing to fabricate and design experimental devices. We were having a lot of trouble with our prints constantly failing midway. After weeks of trouble shooting we realized that it was the filament that kept on clogging our printer. I researched RepRap Warehouse and found that they provide one of the highest PLA filament width tolerances. After using the RepRap filament we have had nearly no print failures. RepRap Warehouse also has amazing customer service. Within an hour Steve replies to your emails and provides great advice. Bought my 5th gen, everything Steve said was as he said it, bed leveling was beyond easy, and Steven was willing to respond to any questions. As for the Makerbot it's self it has been printing daily without fail. Simple to use for sure.
