Hot Swap Service:
UltiMaker Care includes hot swap coverage, meaning if your printer experiences an issue covered by the plan, you’ll receive a replacement device right away. This minimizes downtime and ensures you have a working printer on hand when you need it most.
Flexible Coverage Options:
Select the plan that best fits your needs, with options for 1, 2, 3, and 5-year coverage. Extend your plan further with 1- or 2-year renewal options, with a maximum service period of 5 years to keep your 3D printer running smoothly for the long haul.
Direct access to MakerBot Support Engineers:
Whether you prefer phone, email, or live chat, help is just a step away. With MakerCare you get direct access to our team of 3D printing experts who can help you on the right track with your 3D printer. Need help getting started? Something not quite right with your printer? No question is too big or small. Call or Live Chat us Monday through Friday, 9 am - 6 pm ET. Outside of hours? No problem, just send an email and someone will get back to you within 6 business hours.
Replacement of worn or damaged parts:
Do you have a wear component or a damaged part that you can fix without packing up the printer and sending it in? In addition to defective parts already covered by the standard warranty, MakerCare provides part replacement on both natural wear and accidental damage so you can get back up and running even faster.
Backdate Your Coverage:
For added convenience, UltiMaker Care can be purchased anytime within your printer's warranty period and backdated to the original purchase date, allowing you to access extended coverage without interruption.
Shipping
- We aim to process and ship all orders within 1 to 2 business days.
- We provide Canada-wide shipping to every province and territory.
- International delivery is available to many countries via DHL and UPS, though we are not shipping to the USA at this time.
- If you live near our Edmonton or Sherwood Park locations, you can skip the shipping fees and visit us in person.
- Pre-ordered items will ship as soon as the inventory arrives at our warehouse.

Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
- To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
- If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and include photos of the issue.
