Every spool saves 1,000 grams from the landfill.
Give plastic a second life. RepRap Warehouse Recycled PLA takes PLA that already had one job, cleans it, dries it and turns it back into smooth, fresh filament. It is Canadian-made, it prints just like regular PLA, and every spool means less plastic headed for the landfill.
Every spool is one of a kind. The plastic comes from many colours mixed together, so each batch has its own shade. Most spools come out dark and earthy, like charcoal, deep brown or olive green. Some come out light, and some show soft swirls of colour. Colours vary and you can't pick one. Think of it as a little surprise in every box.

Why Recycled
- A second life for plastic. Good PLA gets used again instead of being thrown away.
- Less waste. Every kilo you print is a kilo of plastic that stayed out of the trash.
- Kept in Canada. It is made here, so it does not cross an ocean to reach your printer.
- Same easy printing. You get the low warp and clean layers PLA is loved for.
- Kinder on your wallet. It costs less than most new PLA.
Finish & Look
- Colour changes from batch to batch, and you can't choose it
- Rich, earthy tones that look great on rocks, ruins, trees and machines
- Smooth surface that grabs primer and paint really well
Good To Know
- It is a little less stiff than new PLA. Pick regular PLA for parts that take big loads or heat.
- Recycled plastic can clog once in a while. Keep your nozzle clean and run a small test print first.
- Keep the spool sealed with desiccant, and dry an opened spool before a long print.
- Need one exact colour for a project? Grab regular PLA for that part.
- Not food safe. Do not use prints for food or drinks.
Good For
- Prototypes and test prints
- Parts you plan to prime and paint
- Tabletop terrain, cosplay props and costume pieces
- Jigs, brackets, organizers and shop helpers
- Schools, libraries and makers who want to waste less
FAQ
What colour will I get?
Colours vary from batch to batch and you can't pick one. Most spools are dark and earthy, and some are lighter or swirled.
Why can't I choose a colour?
The plastic comes from many colours mixed together. Pulling the colour back out would waste energy and money, so we let each batch be what it is.
Does it print like regular PLA?
Yes. Start at 200°C with a 50 to 65°C bed and fans high, then tune a few degrees for your printer.
Is it as strong as new PLA?
It is close, but a little less stiff. It is great for models, props and everyday parts. For parts under heavy load or heat, use regular PLA.
Do I need to dry it?
A sealed spool is ready to print. If it sat open and you hear popping or see rough layers, dry it at 40 to 45°C for 4 to 6 hours.
Why choose recycled?
It gives plastic a second life, cuts waste and keeps it in Canada, and you still get easy PLA printing.
Will it work in my printer?
It works in any printer that takes 1.75 mm PLA.
Is it food safe?
No. Do not use prints for food or drinks.
Can I recycle the spool?
Yes. The spool is cardboard, so it can go in your paper recycling where that is accepted.
