Bambu PLA Galaxy • Speckled Cosmic Finish

Want prints that sparkle like a night sky? Bambu PLA Galaxy is PLA mixed with tiny glass beads that catch the light. Every print gets a smooth, glossy finish that shimmers from every angle, and it prints as easily as Bambu PLA Basic.

What's Included

• 1 kg of Bambu PLA Galaxy, 1.75 mm, on a reusable Bambu spool
• RFID tag, so a Bambu AMS loads the right print settings for you
• Spool size: 200 mm across and 67 mm wide, made of ABS rated to 70°C

Print Settings

• Nozzle: 190-230°C
• Bed: 35-45°C on Cool Plate, High Temperature Plate, or Textured PEI
• Glue: glue stick or liquid glue recommended
• Cooling fan: on
• Speed: under 250 mm/s
• Chamber: 25-45°C
• Retraction: 0.6-1.0 mm at 20-40 mm/s
• Nozzle size: 0.4, 0.6, or 0.8 mm
• Drying: 55°C for 8 hours in a drying oven
• AMS: works with AMS, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, and AMS lite
• Support interface: Bambu Support for PLA

Good To Know

• Each colour has a base colour with a shimmer of a second colour mixed in. The shimmer moves as you turn the print, so smooth, curved shapes show it off best.
• Do not use it with a 0.2 mm stainless steel nozzle or the Engineering Plate.
• Keep overhangs under 55° or add supports. Use Bambu Support for PLA as the interface layer for clean, easy removal.
• It has no strong smell while printing.
• It softens near 55°C, like other PLA. Keep parts out of hot cars and away from heaters.
• Keep the spool sealed with desiccant below 20% humidity, and dry an opened spool before a big print.
• Not food safe. Do not use prints for food or drinks.
