xTool F2 5W IR & 15W Diode Portable Dual Laser Engraver

Two lasers in one small box you can carry anywhere. The xTool F2 pairs a 15W blue diode laser for wood, leather and paper with a 5W infrared laser for metal and plastic. Personalize gifts at home, or set it up on a table at a market and engrave while your customer waits.

What It Can Make

• Cuts (15W diode): paper, wood, leather, MDF, felt and some dark, solid-colour acrylic.
• Engraves (15W diode): paper, wood, leather, coated metal and some dark, solid-colour acrylic.
• Engraves (5W infrared): stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, plated and anodized metal, gold, silver, platinum and plastic.
• Metal effects: deep black marks and colour engraving on stainless steel.
• Cut depth: up to 15 mm basswood and 12 mm acrylic, in several passes.
• The F2 marks and engraves metal. It does not cut metal. For crisp work on glass, look at the xTool F2 Ultra UV.

Speed, Power and Work Area

• Top speed: 6,000 mm/s, great for batches of small items.
• Work area: 115 x 115 mm. Add the Slide Extension for 115 x 400 mm, so you can line up several pieces or run long ones.
• Tallest item: 120 mm. Rotary items up to 120 mm across.
• 50MP smart camera: see your item live, drop your design right where you want it, and fill a tray of items with one click.
• Focus: autofocus, or manual focus with two-dot alignment.
• Fine detail: a laser spot as small as 0.03 mm on the infrared laser.

Safety and Smoke

• The F2 is fully enclosed. The orange shield blocks laser light, and a built-in fan pulls smoke away from your work.
• It is rated as a Class 4 laser. Read the user manual and follow its safety steps every time.
• Lasers make smoke and smell. Add the Desktop Air Purifier to filter smoke and odours and keep your space clean.

Software

• Runs on xTool Studio (formerly xTool Creative Space), one app for design, layout, settings and machine control.
• Works on Windows and macOS. Connect by Wi-Fi, USB or IP.
• Opens SVG, DXF, JPG, PNG, BMP and more.
• Extra tools for curved surfaces, relief engraving and batch jobs.
• The F2 does not work with LightBurn at this time.
