xTool S1 + 1064nm IR Laser Kit: Enclosed Diode Laser Engraver & Cutter

Two laser modules in one safe, closed machine. This kit pairs the xTool S1 enclosed diode laser with a 2W 1064nm infrared module. Use the blue diode to cut and engrave wood, then swap in the infrared module to mark metal, plastic and black acrylic.

What It Can Make

• Cuts in one pass (40W): up to 18 mm wood and 15 mm black acrylic.
• Diode cuts: paper, wood, MDF, leather, felt and some dark, solid-colour acrylic.
• Diode engraves: wood, bamboo, leather, fabric, dark glass, ceramic, marble, slate, and plated or painted metal.
• Infrared engraves: metal, plastic and black acrylic, with very fine detail.
• Curved items: 3D Curve engraving works on bowls and uneven surfaces.

Speed, Power and Work Area

• Top speed: 600 mm/s.
• Work area: 498 x 319 mm with the 40W module.
• Long pieces: the AutoPassthrough slot lets long boards go through the machine.
• Tallest item: 42 mm, or 125 mm with the Riser Base that comes in every bundle.

Safety and Smoke

• The S1 is a Class 1 laser. The lid filters laser light to protect your eyes.
• Flame sensors watch from five directions. It stops when the lid opens, has an emergency stop, and locks with a key.
• Lasers make smoke and smell. Use the exhaust pipe, or choose the All-in-one Purifier Bundle with the SafetyPro AP2 Air Purifier.

Software

• Runs on xTool Studio (formerly xTool Creative Space), with 400+ preset settings.
• Also works with LightBurn for basic functions.
• Connect by USB or Wi-Fi.
