A strong diode laser with a closed lid you can trust indoors. The xTool S1 40W cuts thick wood in one pass, and its Class 1 enclosure keeps the light and smoke inside. It is a great pick for a home studio or a small shop.
What It Can Make
- Cuts in one pass (40W): up to 18 mm wood and 15 mm dark acrylic.
- Cuts: paper, wood, MDF, leather, felt and some dark, solid-colour acrylic.
- Engraves: wood, bamboo, leather, fabric, paper, dark glass, ceramic, jade, marble, slate, cement, brick, and plated or painted metal.
- Metal and plastic: add the 2W IR module, sold separately or with the xTool S1 + 1064nm IR Laser Kit, to mark metal, plastic and black acrylic.
- Curved items: 3D Curve engraving works on bowls and uneven surfaces.

Safety and Smoke
- The S1 is a Class 1 laser. The lid filters laser light to protect your eyes.
- Flame sensors watch from five directions. It stops when the lid opens, has an emergency stop, and locks with a key.
- Lasers make smoke and smell. Use the smoke exhaust pipe, or add the SafetyPro AP2 Air Purifier.
Software
- Runs on xTool Studio (formerly xTool Creative Space), with 400+ preset settings.
- Also works with LightBurn for basic functions.
- Connect by USB or Wi-Fi.

- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
- To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
