Bambu ASA Aero • Lightweight Outdoor Foam

Need outdoor-tough parts that fly light? Bambu ASA Aero is a self-foaming ASA that expands as you print — lower density, UV/weather resistance, and strength for RC and outdoor lightweight work.

What's Included

• 1.75 mm Bambu ASA Aero, 1 kg net on spool
• Vacuum-sealed with desiccant

Print Settings

• Nozzle: 240–280°C class (tune with Bambu ASA Aero preset; foaming response is temperature-sensitive)
• Bed: 90–100°C; Smooth PEI with glue recommended
• 0.4 mm nozzle only — other sizes not recommended
• Enclosed printer required (not P1P/A as primary)
• Drying: 80°C × 8 h oven; or bed 90–100°C × 12 h; AMS HT 80°C × 12 h
• AMS: compatible; AMS lite: not recommended for ABS/ASA/PC class
• Flow ratio for foaming often tuned ~0.42–0.7 for lightweight air models — follow the ASA Aero preset
• Ventilate — ASA can release styrene-family vapours

Good To Know

• Foaming makes complex high-travel models ooze — prefer simpler toolpaths / by-object printing
• Use official ASA Aero preset / 3MF guidance for RC airframes
• Not food-contact grade
• Dry before printing; store sealed
