Creality SPARKX i8 four color 3D printer, front view with four filament spools

The Creality SPARKX i8 prints up to four colors with one nozzle, and it barely wastes any filament doing it. Creality's QuarTeks printhead feeds four filaments into a shared path shorter than 1 mm, so color swaps take under a second.

It is a friendly open frame printer with a 260 x 260 x 255 mm build size, speeds up to 500 mm/s, and an AI camera that keeps an eye on your prints. It comes about 90% put together, so you can be printing in minutes.

Key features

Four colors, one fast nozzle

The QuarTeks head holds four filaments right at the nozzle. The shared path is under 1 mm, so the i8 switches colors in under a second with no long purge.

Far less waste

Most multicolor printers dump a lot of filament with every swap. The i8 purges almost nothing outside the print. Creality says it wastes up to 2.7 times less and prints multicolor jobs up to 5 times faster than older swap systems.

Quick release hotend

The four channel printhead is easy to reach, and the hotend pops out in about 5 seconds for cleaning or a swap.

AI camera watches your print

A 720p camera with a light spots spaghetti failures and air printing, then pauses the job. There are 13 sensors in total, including filament runout.

Smooth, clean surfaces

81 point auto leveling, auto Z offset and input shaping keep first layers even and walls smooth, even at high speed.

Print from anywhere

Set it up with a QR code and send jobs from Creality Print 7, the web, or the Creality Cloud app. Watch the camera feed and get updates over the air.

Quiet at home

The i8 runs at 45 dB or less, so it fits in a bedroom, office or classroom.
