Need stiff nylon for robotics, tooling, and industrial parts? Matter3D PA6-CF is a PA6/PA66 nylon with about 20% carbon fiber for rigidity, dimensional stability, and heat hold. Made in Victoria, BC.

What's Included

  • 1 × Matter3D PA6-CF spool in the weight you pick (1 kg or 5 kg where listed)
  • 1.75 mm carbon-fiber nylon filament
  • Vacuum-sealed; compounded and extruded in Victoria, BC

Print Settings

  • Nozzle: about 260-285°C
  • Bed: about 70-100°C
  • Chamber: about 40-70°C recommended
  • Fan: off or under about 20%
  • Speed: about 40-70 mm/s
  • Dry before printing: about 70°C for 6-8 hours (critical)
  • Hardened nozzle required (carbon fiber is abrasive)
  • Enclosure strongly recommended

Material

  • PA6/PA66 nylon reinforced with about 20% carbon fiber
  • 1.75 mm diameter
  • Heat deflection listed up to about 135°C on Matter3D materials for this family
  • Higher stiffness and flatter prints than unfilled nylon
  • Made in Canada

Good To Know

  • Dry every serious spool. Wet nylon prints weak and stringy

  • 5 kg is often at 0 stock — no depth promises
  • Treat printed parts as non-food-contact

Good For

  • Robotics, tooling, and industrial fixtures
  • High-stiffness brackets and mounts
  • Lightweight structural parts that need nylon toughness plus CF rigidity
  • Farm and shop jobs when you need 1 kg or 5 kg spool sizes
