Need supports that hold PLA overhangs, then come off by hand? Polymaker PolySupport for PLA is a breakaway support filament made for Polymaker PLA. It sticks well enough to support the print, then peels away without water or solvent baths. Dual-nozzle, IDEX, or tool-changer is strongly recommended so you do not clog a single hotend swapping materials.

Print Settings

Nozzle: 220–230°C
Bed: 25–60°C
Cooling fan: ON
Speed: 20–40 mm/s (shop/TDS). Print slower than normal PLA; keep max volumetric speed around 12 mm³/s or lower to reduce clogs
Dry if needed: 55°C for 6 hours
Build surfaces: PC / textured PEI; glue when needed

Tune the support interface gap so supports hold, then separate cleanly.

Breakaway support made for PLA (not water-soluble)

How Support Works

Strong interface during the print, easy hand removal after. No enclosure or hardened nozzle required. Spools are redesigned to spin in Bambu AMS, but multi-nozzle is still preferred for dual material.

Designed for Polymaker PLA-based filaments (primary use)
Also reported with PolySmooth, PolyCast, and small PolyMax PC parts. Treat those as secondary, not the main claim
Single-nozzle dual-material printing is possible but clog risk is higher. Purge carefully. IDEX or tool-changer preferred

Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and include photos of the issue.
