Need tougher everyday parts than PLA with less fuss than ABS? Prusament PETG is Prusa Research in-house PETG with tight diameter control, strong layer bond, and colours you can inspect spool-by-spool on prusament.com. Prusa Orange matches the signature Original Prusa printer colour.
What's Included

Print Settings
- Nozzle: about 250 ± 10°C (Prusament.com PETG)
- Bed: about 80 ± 10°C (Prusament.com PETG; heated bed recommended)
- Fan: about 50% after the first layers (turn fan down or off if you need maximum strength)
- Enclosure: not required for most parts
- Dry if the spool sat open: PETG likes dry filament
Material
- Prusament PETG (glycol-modified PET)
- 1.75 mm diameter with Prusament manufacturing tolerance about ±0.02 mm
- 1 kg net filament on spool
- Tougher and more heat-resistant than typical PLA for mounts, guards, and mechanical parts
- Low warp versus ABS on many open-frame printers
Good To Know
- PETG can string. Use the Prusament PETG profile, then tune retraction and temperature
- On smooth PEI, a light glue stick layer helps release. Satin / textured sheets are often easier
- Transparent colours look clearest on thicker walls and with tuned cooling
- Store sealed with desiccant between jobs
Good For
- Functional brackets, guards, and mechanically stressed parts
- Prusa Orange replacements and accents that match Original Prusa plastics
- Outdoor-ish parts that need more heat hold than PLA (still test for your climate)
- Print farms that already run PrusaSlicer Prusament PETG profiles

- International delivery is available to many countries via DHL and UPS, though we are not shipping to the USA at this time.
- If you live near our Edmonton or Sherwood Park locations, you can skip the shipping fees and visit us in person.
- Pre-ordered items will ship as soon as the inventory arrives at our warehouse.

- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
- To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
- If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and include photos of the issue.
