Dual-color wood-infused PLA filament combines the characteristics of traditional PLA filament with the aesthetic appeal of wood fibers.
1. Material Composition:
- PLA (Polylactic Acid): It forms the base of the filament. PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane.
- Wood Fibers or Particles: Typically, wood fibers or particles are infused into the PLA matrix. These fibers are finely ground recycled wood material, often sourced from different types of wood such as pine, walnut and mahogany.
2. Appearance and Texture:
- Natural Wood Appearance: The filament mimics the look of natural wood due to the presence of wood fibers. This gives a distinct aesthetic to printed objects, resembling wood grain patterns.
- Texture: The surface texture of prints made with this filament can vary depending on the concentration and type of wood fibers. It may have a slightly rougher texture compared to standard PLA.
3. Printing Characteristics:
- Similar to PLA: Dual-color wood-infused PLA generally prints at temperatures similar to regular PLA, typically around 190-220°C.
- Adhesion and Warping: It tends to have good adhesion to build surfaces and minimal warping, similar to standard PLA, making it easier to print with.

- If you live near our Edmonton or Sherwood Park locations, you can skip the shipping fees and visit us in person.
- Pre-ordered items will ship as soon as the inventory arrives at our warehouse.

Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
- To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
- If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and include photos of the issue.
