RepRapper Tech Dual Wood Infused PLA

Want decor prints that look like wood without painting? RepRapper Tech Dual Wood Infused PLA blends wood fibers into a PLA base so finished parts pick up a natural wood look. Each spool pairs two wood tones on one run. Prints in the PLA temperature range on most FDM machines.

What's Included

• 1 × 1 kg (2.2 lb) spool of RepRapper Tech Dual Wood Infused PLA, 1.75 mm
• Dried spool, vacuum-packed with desiccant (manufacturer pack)

Print Settings

• Nozzle: about 190-220°C (on-spool manufacturer label; start near the middle of the band and tune)
• Bed: about 40-60°C (optional on many PLA beds; blue tape or a clean PEI sheet works well)
• Speed: start like everyday PLA, then slow a little if the wood fill snags
• Nozzle tip: wood fill is mildly abrasive. A hardened nozzle lasts longer than soft brass on long runs
• Dry if the spool sat open: wood-filled PLA prints worse when damp

• PLA blended with wood fibers for a natural wood look and light wood-grain texture
• Dual wood-tone options on one spool so colour shifts as the print grows

• Prints in the PLA range with solid bed hold on most FDM machines
• Light sanding brings out the wood grain when you want more depth

Good To Know

• Wood fibers change how light hits the part. Sand the high spots when you want the grain to pop
• Filled filament can wear a soft brass nozzle faster than plain PLA. Swap to hardened steel for longer jobs
• Keep the spool sealed with desiccant when you are done
• We also stock single-fill infused PLA (wood, copper, or bronze look) as its own product when you want one solid fill tone instead of dual wood tones
