Need clean supports for overhangs, hollows, and complex geometry? Ultrafuse BVOH is a water-soluble support filament that dissolves in water, faster when the water is warm, so you spend less time on post-processing than with breakaway supports.
What's Included

- Sealed packaging to help protect this moisture-sensitive filament
Print Settings
- Nozzle: about 190–210°C (start near the middle of the band and tune)
- Bed: about 60–100°C (glass bed preferred)
- Speed: about 30–60 mm/s
- Nozzle diameter: 0.4 mm or larger
- Dry before printing if the spool has taken on moisture: about 60°C for 4–16 hours in a hot-air dryer or vacuum oven
- Keep the spool sealed between jobs; BVOH is moisture sensitive

- Butenediol vinyl alcohol copolymer (BVOH) water-soluble support filament
- Available in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm
- Spool sizes: 350 g and 750 g (select at checkout)
- Natural colour
- Forward AM compatibility (as stated by the manufacturer): PLA, PRO1, ABS, ABS Fusion+, PA, and PAHT CF15
- Manufacturer claims dissolve rate about 2× faster than other PVA in water; warmer water speeds dissolution further
How Support Works
- Print Ultrafuse BVOH as temporary support under overhangs, bridges, and internal cavities
- After the print finishes, soak the part in water so the support dissolves away
- Warmer water dissolves support faster; rinse until the soluble material is gone
- Compared with breakaway support, you get less manual scraping and cleaner surfaces on complex or hollow parts
Good To Know
- Store sealed in a dry place. Open air and humidity will degrade printability
- Dry the spool if you see stringing, bubbling, or weak support adhesion
- Run support settings suited to soluble material (lower density interface layers help rinse time)
- Match your model material to the Forward AM compatibility list above for best results

Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened items and within 14 days for opened items in new condition.
- To qualify for a return, items must be in original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.
- Please note that opened consumables like filament and resin, as well as modified items or final sale products, are not eligible for return.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing and inspection.
- If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and include photos of the issue.
