Power, Modularity & Material Flexibility
Power is where the S1 really shines. You can choose between a 20W or 40W high-performance diode laser module, both capable of precision cuts and engravings. With the 40W option, you can cut materials like 18mm wood or 15mm acrylic in a single pass. For advanced applications, there's an optional 1064nm infrared laser module that expands compatibility to metal engraving and other harder materials.
Precision, Positioning & Speed
Precision is enhanced through the innovative Twin-Point Positioning System, allowing you to place and align your designs without relying on a camera. The machine also features automatic dynamic focusing, which adjusts in real-time for materials that aren't perfectly flat. With speeds up to 600mm per second and a fine laser spot size of 0.08 x 0.1mm, your designs come out sharp, clean, and consistent.
Software, Workflow & Expandability
The S1 supports both xTool Creative Space (perfect for beginners) and LightBurn (for advanced users). It works with Windows, macOS, and even select tablets, giving you flexibility in how and where you design.
The xTool S1 is also modular and highly expandable. You can add accessories like the RA2 Pro rotary attachment for cylindrical objects, a riser base for taller materials, or a conveyor feeder to handle longer workpieces. Swapping laser modules is quick and tool-free, making upgrades simple and seamless.
