Need stiff, high-heat nylon for jigs and structural parts? Matter3D Performance Amide Nylon 66 High Temperature Carbon Fiber is a PA6/66 blend with about 20% carbon fiber for rigidity and heat hold up to Matter3D's listed HDT around 135Β°C.

What's Included

  • 1 Γ— Matter3D Performance Amide Nylon HT CF spool (1 kg)
  • 1.75 mm carbon-fiber nylon filament
  • Vacuum-sealed; compounded in Victoria, BC

Print Settings

  • Nozzle: about 260-285Β°C
  • Bed: about 70-100Β°C
  • Chamber: about 40-70Β°C recommended
  • Fan: off or under about 20%
  • Speed: about 40-70 mm/s
  • Dry before every serious job: about 70Β°C for 6-8 hours (critical)
  • Nozzle: hardened steel, tungsten carbide, or ruby (CF is abrasive)
  • Enclosure: strongly recommended
  • Adhesion aids: PA glue, Garolite/G-10, or Magigoo PA style surfaces

Material

  • PA6/66 nylon blend with about 20% carbon fiber
  • 1.75 mm diameter
  • Matter3D lists tensile about 110-140 MPa and HDT about 135Β°C on this grade
  • Higher stiffness and dimensional stability than unfilled nylon
  • Made in Canada

Good To Know

  • Nylon drinks moisture. Dry it or prints will steam, string, and weaken
  • Treat printed parts as non-food-contact
  • Looking for the related PA6 listing? See Matter3D PA6-CF (separate SKU and PDP)
  • Optional anneal on some Matter3D nylon notes: about 80-130Β°C for up to 30 minutes β€” test one part first

Good For

  • High-stiffness brackets, mounts, and fixtures
  • Robotics, drone, and RC structural parts
  • Tooling and inspection fixtures that see heat
  • Lightweight structural parts that need nylon toughness plus CF rigidity
